TMA’s Annual Meeting and House of Delegates (HOD) is the governing body and deliberative forum for the association. The annual event gives physicians an opportunity to gather as a professional group to present, debate and ratify policies that affect the practice of medicine in Tennessee.
This year, TMA is launching an enhanced format designed to provide additional opportunities for education and engagement. New components of the 2026 event include an Issues Forum, offering an in-depth exploration of two to three major health policy topics, and Resolution Review Sessions, allowing delegates to discuss resolutions in small groups prior to the formal HOD proceedings. In addition to these features, registration is expanded to allow any TMA member—regardless of delegate status— to attend these educational and networking portions of the day.
Cost for the event will be available as a two-tiered option based on delegate or non-delegate status. The below chart shows programs and benefits available based on status.
