This presentation will provide an overview of state efforts to combat stigma surrounding physician mental health through legislative reform, wellness initiatives and supportive tools. Participants will review recent changes in Tennessee statutes that encourage help-seeking behavior while safeguarding patient care, examine outcome and survey data from the Tennessee Medical Foundation (TMF), and learn about the TN-PSQ wellness tool and other resources aimed at reducing burnout and suicide risk among physicians.
