Former TMA President Calls for Support of Ingram Institute
Learn how you can help.
The following was submitted by F. Michael Minch, MD, TMA President 2011 - 2012 to encourage support of the Ingram Institute for Physician Leadership ahead of Giving Tuesday on December 3.
Fellow physicians, I am writing to you to ask for your support for the Tennessee Medical Association (TMA) Ingram Institute for Physician Leadership (formally the Physician Leadership College).
When I was TMA president, the Ingram Institute was in its infancy. I have enjoyed watching its evolution and growth over the years, and I am proud of what it has become. It now provides us with a great source of qualified and determined physicians that are ready to lead us into the future.
That is why when I received the notice that the Ingram Institute is losing its financial supporter and is in need of financial help, it did not take me long to decide to act. This is a program that needs to continue to grow and prosper, and we all need to help.
I personally have pledged $25,000 over the next five years to see that the Ingram Institute can continue to produce savvy, well-trained leaders. I am writing to you to ask that you join me with a generous charitable donation or pledge. It is tax deductible and for a good cause.
Your support for this important program is greatly appreciated.
