Help Policymakers Understand the Urgency for Medicare and Medicaid Reform by Taking TMA's Survey

The Tennessee Medical Association (TMA) has made government payment reform a top priority of the organization, working closely with the American Medical Association (AMA) to advocate for annual inflationary updates to Medicare payments and with state lawmakers to increase TennCare payments up to the average contracted rate.

To achieve these goals, the TMA needs your help. Policymakers must understand the urgency for reform and how access to care for thousands of Tennesseans could be threatened if not addressed. By taking a few minutes of your day to complete the below survey, TMA can generate valuable state-level data that will be used to inform its advocacy efforts.

You will be asked questions related to your practice size, whether you accept Medicare or Medicaid patients and your intentions to continue accepting these patients under current reimbursement rates. The survey should take less than three minutes to complete.

For questions about this survey or advocacy efforts surrounding government payment reform, contact TMA’s Vice President of Government Affairs, Julie Griffin, at julie.griffin@tnmed.org.
