NASHVILLE, TENN. – The 2024 Ingram Institute for Physician Leadership concluded on July 27 with 22 new graduates. Physicians from across the state enrolled in the Tennessee Medical Association’s (TMA) 2024 Leadership Lab and Immersion program classes.

The Ingram Institute is compromised of two professional development programs which offer Tennessee physicians the opportunity to develop into well-rounded leaders. The Lab program helps physicians acquire the skills needed to become quality leaders in team care by undertaking a course project, while the Immersion program offers physicians foundational training and skill development to help them excel in leadership positions.

The Ingram Institute for Physician Leadership has been funded by various contributors since the program’s inception, most recently by the Physicians Foundation which has been a primary supporter for the past eight years. The program is funded through the 501c3 organization, the Tennessee Foundation for Quality Patient Healthcare (TFQPH). TFQPH is currently seeking private and corporate sponsorship for the continuation of this valuable program.
