TMA Launches Resident Job Board

Residents Can Find Their Next Career Step in Tennessee Through TMA

The Tennessee Medical Association (TMA) has launched a new member-only benefit, the Resident Matching Program. The offering, designed to assist newly trained physicians with transitioning to the next phase of their career, features an interactive job board on TMA’s website and contract negotiation services.

Resident members looking for a one-stop job search tool can log in to their new InfoHub** accounts, click on “Job Board” on the left navigation panel and access a full listing of current openings within TMA’s network of practices and physician groups. Those interested in applying and moving through the interview process will coordinate with TMA staff who will serve as middleman between the employer and the candidate. Applicants will be notified of the results of an interview, no matter the outcome.

TMA’s program will not only be a resource for residents, but for employers alike. Member practices and groups will be able to post open positions. These opportunities will be delivered to TMA's network of over 1,800 resident members.

Along with the Resident Matching Program, all members now have access to a 10% off discount with TMA’s new contract review partner, Resolve. Resolve is a valuable source for physician contract review services and compensation data. Whether a resident is signing their first employment contract, or an experienced physician is re-negotiating a current one, Resolve ensures their terms are fair.

The Tennessee Medical Association is a nonprofit professional organization for Tennessee physicians. TMA represents more than 10,000 Tennessee physicians and physicians-in-training. The organization advocates for public policies, laws and rules that promote healthcare safety and quality for all Tennesseans and improve the nonclinical aspects of practicing medicine.
