The TMA would like to extend a huge thank you to all contributors of our political action committee, TMA PAC, in the 2022-2023 fiscal year. Nearly 200 unique donors invested a total of $91,268 this cycle, which included students, residents, spouses, administrators, executives, and physicians representing 31 different specialties. In addition to your individual support, TMA PAC raised a total of $83,900 from corporate donors and $17,603 from other business and specialty society PACs, making total collections raised $192,772.

While we fell short of reaching our $200,000 goal this fiscal cycle, this level of support in a non-election year should be celebrated as a major win for organized medicine. We are appreciative of all those who invested to help set the TMA up for a strategic year ahead in the 2024 political season.
As a show of thanks, the TMA PAC Committee approved a year-end report highlighting the successes of the 2022-2023 cycle. We offer this report to all TMA members with the hopes of encouraging more physicians to get involved in TMA PAC and help fight for candidates who support your issues.
